Industrialization Specialist

Mips is now looking for an Industrialization Specialist to join our team at our headquarters in Täby, Sweden.

In this role, you will have a central role in contributing to our long-term operational excellence and play a key part in shaping how Mips builds resilient, sustainable, and scalable supply chains for the future.

About the role

As Industrialization Specialist, you will step into a critical and evolving role that combines sourcing strategy and production scalability.

At first you will focus on global sourcing, both working closely with existing suppliers in China and supporting in sourcing new suppliers outside China, potentially in Europe, in South-East Asia and in North America.

After this initial focus, you will embrace an industrialization role, ensuring that our production processes and supply chain infrastructure scale in line with our growing operations. You will monitor the production processes not only for existing products but also for new products in development and provide key insights to elevate our manufacturing capabilities to the next level.

You will be a member of the Operations team at the Headquarters in Stockholm and report to the Sourcing Manager. You will have a central role with many interactions with other key departments such as:

• Product Development
• Implementation
• Sustainability
• China Operations

In this role you are expecting to both take tactical decisions in line with Mips global sourcing strategy and work operationally in following-up the projects and actions with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities 

• Implement Mips’ global sourcing strategy, optimizing cost, quality, and sustainability outcomes.
• Coordinate logistics and production outside of China in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support product development initiatives by aligning sourcing strategies with technical and production requirements.
• Lead production process improvements to drive supply chain efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with the Sustainability Specialist to integrate responsible sourcing and eco-conscious practices into operations.

Who We’re Looking For

• You have solid professional experience in industrialization preferably in the helmet or sporting goods industry.
• Production experience from injection moulding, CNC trimming and/or vacuum forming.
• You’re analytical, organized, and confident in using Excel or other tools to drive data-informed decisions.
• You’re an effective communicator and collaborator, able to build strong relationships with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about contributing to sustainability and operational excellence.
• You’re curious, self-motivated, and eager to grow in a company that values impact and innovation.

 Bonus points if you have

• Sourcing expertise from a product-related industry.
• Experience from the textile industry.
